HUD SYSTEM

Dice

The 'standard' dice function will be a standard d20. Most of the role-play should be freeform. However if strong interactions or conflict arises between characters, then the dice is a good way to even out characters strengths and weaknesses.

Attributes

Your Character has 12 'Attribute' points that will need assigning to the following traits:

  • Charm

  • Agility

  • Strength

  • Constitution (Maximum of 4 points can be assigned here.)

  • Intelligence

  • Wisdom

The given attribute points govern certain actions and will act as modifiers to the dice roll. So for example, if a given character wants to smack another in the face, she would roll, choosing the ‘strength’ attribute. If she has 4 assigned points to her strength modifier, it will add a bonus of 4 to the dice roll.

Strength

Actions of physical force, Carrying heavy loads.

-

Agility:
Running Away, Avoiding a physical attack, Throwing items, Ranged Weapons.

-

Charm:
Social encounters of persuasion, winning popularity, entertaining/singing ability.

-

Intelligence
Governing book-learning, knowledge, and deductive reasoning. Defends against wisdom based magic

attacks.

Also governs the 4 magic schools: Evocation, Illusion, Enchantment and Transmutation

(More on this below)

-

Wisdom
About common sense, willpower/mental strength, instinct, and intuition. Also defends from intelligence

based magic attacks.

Magic wise it governs: Abjuration, Divination, Necromancy, Conjuration

-

Constitution/HP
Every player starts with 3 HP, however their Constitution points will add to this:

2 constitution points = 1 HP

The maximum to assign is 4 attribute points equating to 2 additional HP.

(Should they become an OOC lead in something, this maximum will expand to 8 attribute points equating to 4 additional HP).

Changing & Recharging Stats

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You are responsible for managing your HP & MP via the HUD

In role-play, your character's HP and MP would be "recharged" with every resting RP day:

1 HP per real life day.

4 MP per real life day.

The only exception of this will be if your character visits an infirmary/healer or drinks a mana potion.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Again, you are responsible for managing your HP & MP via the HUD
(Going forward this may change)

Magic

For a character to access magical abilities they need at least 3 points in Intelligence or Wisdom.

Mana Points are essentially your characters Wisdom + Intelligence points .

For more on Magic please visit the Magic Rules Page.

Can I level up?

The only way to strengthen your ‘dice’ is to lead a role.

  • Business leads = Gain +4 additional attribute points to spend

  • Guild leads = Gain +6 additional attribute points to spend

  • Race leads = Gain +8 additional attribute points to spend (+Admins)

Once faction leads step down from their position, they lose these additional points and go back to their original stats that they came in the game with.

(However should they lead for 6 months, they retain half of the points.)
