Merfolk
Merfolk are generally the creatures who make up the bulk of Dwarka's population and often maintain underwater sea life. They often work with nature and encourage seaweed/ 'sea veg' grow and take care of the vulnerable sea creatures. They tend to the animal life and bring life to the community. They make excellent entertainers, guardians, healers and farmers of the seaworld.
Abilities:
1) Often magically naturally inclined especially in the arts of healing and water manipulation
2) Can speak with sea animals
3) Very charming and beautiful, others are often persuaded by their appearances and charms.

Weaknesses:
1) They cannot split their tail at will. However, some merfolk have found a way around this. (They say the octomer are knowledgeable about this)
2) Often gullible and over-trusting
3) Vulnerable and physically weak if sitting out of the water
